Used in concrete slab construction and concrete bases, following the concrete pour the screed rails remain in the slab. Ideal for the construction of concrete industrial floors, forecourts. parking areas, concrete pads and slabs. Screed rails eliminate the need for timber formers and any costs associated with hire charges, as well as saving time and money on installing individual adjustable screed chairs. Distance between 20mm dowel holes is 300mm. The 300mm spaced dowel holes allow continuous fixing of mesh & reinforcement throughout the slab resulting in improved structure and performance. £37.40 – £42.00The Kota metal top concrete screed rail is a combination of concrete and galvanised steel. The 1.5mm top profile of galvanised steel provides a very straight and fully controlled hairline crack. A PVC profile is used where the shrink line needs to be integrated and sealed. Used for concrete slab construction and concrete bases. Once the concrete has been poured the screed rails remains in place. If the plastic profile has been used, the joint can be filled with a joint sealant. Distance between 20mm dowel holes is 300mm. Available in 95mm, 115mm and 140mm high. Each rail measures 3.9m long. £3.00PVC profile for use with Kota Metal Top Screed Rails. A PVC profile is used when a shrink line needs to be integrated and sealed in the slab. The profile is used when a closed and very string joint is required because of heavy loads on small solid wheels. A hard 2-component filler should be used to seal the joint. Where the main purpose is to prevent water or other liquids from seeping down through the joint, then a softer 1-component filler should be used. PVC profiles are supplied in 2m lengths. IMPORTANT: Wait as long as possible before the PVC profile is removed and the gap filled. The longer you wait the more shrink is obtained.
